Ballet music

A complete score, not an unwritten proposal.

The musical work was completed in 2009 for medium-sized orchestra and lasts approximately 35 minutes.

It was commissioned anonymously. The score and parts survive in the composer’s archive under reference AGM-01072013, together with character material and three films.

The current task is to present those existing elements as a coherent ballet or stage proposition: hotel, characters, relationships and the deliberately unstable question of who is using whom.

The earlier working title, Hotel — ambiguous duplicity, reflected the ballet’s uncertainty over who is using whom. The project is presented here as Rich Bitch: A Ballet in Two Realities.
